Item Description

A striking and aesthetic milky quartz crystal cluster from an uncommon Connecticut locality - the Diamond Ledge, Stafford. Translucent, frosted and lustrous milky quartz crystals, with the prism faces having a preferential drusy quartz overgrowth, in a very appealing form comprise this piece showy from the Schlichter Collection. A bit of iron oxide coating adds color and character. Pristine, except for a trivial bit of periphery wear at the base. All of the major crystals are pristine, except for the trivial termination wear to the secondary crystal on the right side, just below the top. The angulation and variable crystal size are noteworthy.
