Item Description

An impressive, large, mounded, two-sided, milky quartz specimen from this well-known Connecticut locale and the Schlichter Collection. The variable size and orientation of the crystals along with the secondary growth of much smaller quartz crystals on the prism faces and NOT the termination faces is very noteworthy and interesting. The striking large crystal is 5.0 cm. Essentially pristine. The base has been sawed to enhance the considerable display quality. Fine and showy, two-sided quartz.
