Milarite (very rare)

Here we have a fantastic faceted stone of Milarite, a a relatively rare beryllium silicate mineral, which is even rarer in faceted gems. There are only a few localities in the world the produce gem quality Milarite, and stones are often small, and typically have inclusions. A 1-carat Milarite gem is typically considered large and collector quality. This "Freeform" cut gem is slightly included, and it's one of the VERY few we've ever had to offer in the auctions. It's one of those stones that is not seen even in rare gem collections. This particular stone dates back over 25 years, and is not from any contemporary mining.
