Item Description
Sharp, tabular, lemon-yellow crystals to 7 mm of the rare species milarite. Milarite is a rare beryllium silicate. The crystals are scattered on the very aesthetic thumbnail matrix of off-white valencianite crystals. Valencianite is a unique variety of adularia (K-feldspar) named after the famed Valenciana Mine. This fine thumb is probably from the classic old find of the 1960s. Ex Harold Urish Collection.
