Item Description
An extreme and showy large combination RARITY from the pegmatites of Natrona County. The impressive, large, sharp, partially doubly terminated, flesh-pink, microcline crystal has a face and other areas colored turquoise-blue by amazonite. Rounded aggregates of cleavelandite blades scattered about are a fine accent. The piece also has numerous quartz shards. A RARE Wyoming amazonite from the Bob Trimingham Collection. Formerly in the Pappy Yeats Collection of the Texas Tech Geology Department (A well known collection of a prominent geologist, sold off in the 1980s. The piece dates to prior to 1950).
