Microcline "Manebach" twin (ex Brian Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

This is a nice display specimen from one of the most storied and well known districts in Colorado. The pegmatites near the Lake George area of Colorado have produced what most collectors and dealers consider to be the finest Amazonite specimens from the standpoint of superb color, top quality, wonderful display specimens and excellent associations. This particular specimen features cream colored blocky Microcline crystals with one distinct "Manebach" twin. This specimen was collected over 30 years ago (September of 1980) From the collection of Brian Kosnar with collection number BK301 attached to the bottom.
