Item Description
A notably sharp and well-formed, GEMMY, "water green" colored crystal of Microcline from the Shigar Valley in Pakistan. It's not common to find Microcline crytals with any kind of translucency, let alone a gemmy crystal like this, and then when you add in the odd color, it's a very worthwhile example of crystallized feldspar. I can't tell for certain if this piece is twinned (possibly a Baveno twin), or if it just has a symmetrical growth. Nonetheless, for the quality, color, form and gemminess, it's a rarity to be sure and worth picking up if you collect gem crystals, pegmatite crystals or minerals of Pakistan. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Valued at $1750.
