Microcline (fine quality) with Quartz

Here an impressive specimen for the Feldpsar collectors out there. This is from a find in Pakistan in the late Fall of 2005. This is something that is not often seen from Pakistan or just about any other world locality in terms of quality. This specimen features excellent, lustrous, very well-formed, porcelain-esque prismatic crystals of Microcline associated with GEM quality, highly lustrous, colorless Quartz crystals. The Microcline crystals are about as good as any I've seen in terms of sharpness, and reflective lustrer. These specimens are very hard to obtain from Pakistan, especially is such showy and three-dimensional examples.. This piece is a great quality display with excellent form, and looks like a beautiful piece of carved marble. Valued at $2,000 for the size and quality.
