Item Description

PLEASE NOTE: This piece came originally labeled as Florencite-(Ce), but it's clearly a crystal of Microcline. Perhaps there is some micro Florencite present, but I looked it over closely and couldn't find anything. This piece is a sharp, well-formed, lustrous, doubly-terminated, cream colored crystal group free of matrix. The piece is in good condition, but there are a few spots of damage than can be seen. If you collect feldspar, this is a great locality specimen to add to your suite. Ex Kay Robertson Collection. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
