Microcline (Baveno twin) (ex Ron Boyd Collection)

Item Description

This piece is from the collection of Ron Boyd. A fair sharp and notable pinkish colored Baveno twinned crystal of Microcline that is almost completely coated with silvery Muscovite mica on the front. At the base of the crystal several "rosette"-esque aggregates of bladed Albite can be seen. The piece is nearly damage free, and really displays nicely from several angles. A great piece for a feldspar collector, a pegmatite collector of even an addition to a suite of Colorado minerals.
