Item Description
A sharply terminated, pristine, complete all-around, lustrous, off-white, 5.0 cm microcline crystal with textbook crystal faces from the finds six or seven years ago in Pakistan. A couple of the faces are preferentially overgrown by lustrous and transparent light-gray microcline, with very nice effect. This is an exceptional and aesthetic combination, with the way the crystal rises up from the sculptural matrix highlighted by the superb, glassy, 5.0 cm, doubly terminated albite crystal. There's even a hard-to-see, 2.2 cm, light ice-blue aquamarine set in the front of the piece. These are some of the finest microclines found from any locality in recent years and this is an oustanding and rare combination in this quality. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Herb valued this very fine piece at $600, more than five years ago.
