Item Description
A fine single crystal of pinkish colored Microcline showing textbook form from the Devils Head area on the front range of Colorado. The piece is undamaged, sharp, well-formed and has smooth euhedral faces. It appears as though there is some form of twinning present, as there is a clear difference in the directional luster seen on each side/half of the crystal. A choice piece of this fairly hard to find material. The crystal was collected in the 1980s, and comes from the collection of Brian Kosnar.
