Mica var. Zinnwaldite (varietal)

Item Description

A showy, old-time piece from Zinnwald, Czech Republic, of lustrous, silvery, platy Zinnwaldite books. The Zinnwaldite has an outstanding, pearly luster, as one would expect from a member of the Mica Group, and some portions of the specimen display the classic hexagonal habit. Zinnwaldite is a discredited Mica species, first described from Zinnwald, but this is still a good example of this variety.
