Item Description

Description:Large, partial crystal of Beryl. The Beryl has two crystal faces, and is milky with a blue tint. What makes this piece so unusual, and yes, appealing, is the exceptional Muscovite mold in the Beryl. At one time, there was a 3 cm-wide Muscovite book embedded in the Beryl, and the hexagonal form of that Muscovite is perfectly preserved. On top of that, a portion of the Muscovite remains in the Beryl, and you can see what great luster it has. This is a fine locality piece, and an interesting combination. Purchased in Brazil in the late 1990s. Originally priced at $880 to the former owner long ago in 1999. Just a unique and interesting thing!
