Item Description

Miargyrite is a rare silver species, rarely crystallizing dramatically. The well-known San Genaro Mine has produced some of the finest examples. This extremely rich and showy, undulating plate is covered with sharp, lustrous, dark metallic gray crystals to about 8 mm and are nicely accented with splendent, brassy, pyrite pyritohedrons and a few quartz crystal clusters. This is a very fine and rich combination specimen of the species and noted locale.
