Borate specimens of any variety are rare from this obscure Inyo County prospect and meyerhofferite pieces, extremely so. Meyerhofferite is a rare borate species and this very showy and excellent piece consists of glassy, translucent primary crystal blades in a sculptural, parallel-growth form. A fine, rare and pristine miniature from the Al Ordway Collection.
