Item Description

A rarely seen specimen of Metatorbernite from near the Crown King Mine in Arizona featuring beautiful micro tabular crystals of a minty-green hue sitting atop spherical aggregates of dark grey-brown Goethite(?) on matrix. This piece is not specifically from the Crown King Mine, and could be from the same find that was collected in the early 1990's by Jeff Scovil (see https://www.mindat.org/photo-737362.html). The crystals are beautiful under magnification, and we've shot them with a macro lens to better illustrate the quality. From the dealer stock of Les Presmyk / De Natura.
