Fabulous iridescent neon-green square tabular metatorbernite crystals, to 1.3 cm, are richly and dramatically clustered jackstraw style on the striking mounded small cabinet from the famous Musonoi Mine. Metatorbernite is a hydrated Cu-U-phosphate and specimens from this famous open pit Cu-Co-U deposit are easily considered to be among the world's finest examples of the species (although miners called them green wulfenite sometimes!). Never common, they were considered old-classic by the mid-1990s. See the fine 2018 Mineralogical Record article in Vol. 49, No. 2.
