Item Description

These are some of the most beautiful crystallized specimens out there in my mind. Metatorbernite was named after the Swedish chemist, Tobern Bergmann who lived in the mid 1700's. This specimen comprises hundreds of good, lustrous, translucent, deep green color, flattened, thin, groups and slightly diverging crystals of this beautiful Copper Uranium Phosphate on matrix. It is somewhat difficult to obtain small cabinet size specimens of this material from this locality. These specimens are becoming increasingly difficult to find in today's market. A great classic specimen from this wonderful locality.
