"Mercedes Star" Calcite

Item Description

A stunning, sharp 3-pronged "Mercedes star" is dramatically visible within the impresssive, 9.0 cm, tabular, hexagonal, calcite rhomb artistically attached to smaller calcites. The oriented yellow iron-oxide tinted "star" inclusion is clearly visible within the large translucent, colorless crystal with satin lustre faces, including another "star" in a smaller attached calcite. The large calcite is essentially pristine, except for a few acceptable edge wilbers and an attachment on the lower right corner. These striking and unique looking "star" calcites are seldom available from the Leiping Mine. This one is especially large and well-defined. Valued at a minimum of $700.
