Item Description

Meneghinite is a rare Pb-Cu-Sb sulfosalt. Specimens of any type are rare from this obscure small mine and meneghinite specimens are EXTREMELY RARE. This showy and excellent mounded combination ore specimen features clusters of metallic needles and lathes, to about 1.0 cm, tucked next to the twinned sphalerite crystals and bright pyrite cubes and are also included in the contrasting partial cover of glassy calcite rhombs. The matrix is massive pyrite. Faint reddish-pink calcite fluorescence. Ex Art Soregaroli Collection. CHOICE and rare combination material.
