Item Description
Mendipite is an extremely rare halide, originally found in the Mendip Hills of Somerset, England. This piece features pinkish-white colored, layered / parallel growth crystals of Mendipite associated with black Pyrolusite along with minor tan Mereheadite plus micro crystals of rich yellow Mimetite. How often does one have a chance to purchase a piece of this super rare mineral from the type locality?? A really cool combo / association piece and a must have for any rare species collector.
