Mendipite is an extremely rare halide, originally found in the Mendip Hills of Somerset, England. This piece features off-white colored, layered / parallel growth crystals of Mendipite associated with white trigonal Hydrocerussite and possibly Pyromorphite according to the label. How often does one have a chance to purchase a piece of this super rare mineral from the Type Locality??
