Mellite (rare) fluorescent

Very uncommon on the market, this is a fine crystal of the unique, organic-based mineral mellite, most of which come from Hungary. This one has textbook tetragonal form, fine luster and translucence and classic mottle honey-brown color. Some of the tips have a trivial bit of bruising and there's a small contact on one face from another crystal, but no damage per se. An excellent display quality thumbnail of this rarity. You just do not see these for sale often!
