Item Description
Megalodon sharks were possibly the largest and most fearsome predators that ever inhabited the Earth. They reached 50-60 feet (15-18 m) long. They lived during part of the Cenozoic Era from 15.9 to 2.6 MYBP. This fine tooth is a typical example of the finds sold at rock shops and fossil shows throughout the country. It is 9.0 cm on the slant. It has high luster and has serrated edges. A classic, fascinating and impressive fossil.
