Maucherite is an uncommon nickel arsenide found in nickel-cobalt arsenide veins and this rich combination specimen is from the Type Locality in Germany. This hefty ore specimen from this historic locale hosts several areas of lustrous, lamellar, reddish-silvery maucherite interspersed with bright, brassy chalcopyrite.
