Item Description
Matrix nambulite specimens are INCREDIBLY RARE. A 5 mm, GEM, light cherry-red terminated nambulite crystal is jauntily perched on matrix from the ONE-TIME find at the Kombat Mine in the early 1970s. Nambulite is a very rare complex lithium silicate, with easily the finest examples of the species coming from the famous Kombat Mine. One edge of the termination is cleaved, but is certainly only a modest detraction to this desirable rarity. Ex. John Barlow Collection. John bought a huge lot of this material when it came out in the one time find. This is small, but nonetheless spectacular for what it is. Valued $1000
