Item Description
Matrix spodumene specimens are uncommon from Afghanistan and this very aesthetic opposing cluster of green triphane blades rests on a matrix of clay-coated, stacked muscovite plates. The gem, light mint-green blades have waxy luster with lightly frosted prism faces. The textbook chisel terminations have more intense frosted faces. The large crystal is 4.5 cm long. The compostion of the pristine, crossed triphane crystals is very fine. Choice material from the Herb Obodd dealer stock and valued by Herb at $900, more than five years ago. It is worth more today. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
