Sharp, octahedral, magnetite crystals to about 1.4 cm have been pseudomorphed by lustrous, dark gray hematite on this very showy and rich two-sided specimen from the Art Soregaroli Collection. The bit of noted bruising is certainly acceptable in the context of this the rich piece.
