Item Description

Maricopaite is a super-rare Zeolite Group species UNIQUE to this extinct obscure, interestingly named, former Au-Pb-Ag mine. It is the only currently known natural zeolite representative with lead as an essential cation (MINDAT). Silky, vitreous white to light brown crusts cover all sides of this VERY RICH and rare specimen. Either the maricopaite or another mineral fluoresces yellow. Ex Josef Vajdak Collection.
