Item Description
A rarely seen specimen of botryoidal Marcasite from the Santa Rosa Mine in Zacatecas, Mexico. This specimen is filled with attractive, bronzey spherical groups which are completely covering the underlying Quartz matrix. There are highlighted areas of sparkling/drusy brighter golden metallic Marcasite in areas, creating a contrasting against the larger "balls". No major damage, and certainly a rare locality piece that would make a great addition to a sulfide suite or a collection of Mexican minerals.
