A striking cluster of very sharp first and second generation, bronzy, marcasite crystals is dramatically perched on very scuptural, scalloped, spearpoint-shaped shale matrix from this uncommon Czech locale. The first generation, sharp spearpoint marcasites are overgrown with sharp, second generation, smaller, orthorhombic crystals. This fine and showy piece is from an extinct lignite mine. AMAZINGLY, all of the many marcasite crystals are pristine! Ex Jaime Bird Collection and very uncommon material, especially in this quality.
