Item Description

An unusual and uncommon locality specimen, labeled only as coming from Liguria, Italy featuring acicular "needles" of metallic golden Marcasite, sitting on a layer of micro crystallized Quartz on Limestone matrix. The Marcasites are beautiful up close, and this particular habit is rare for the species, though not completely unseen. A cool oddball locality specimen for anyone who collects sulfides or minerals of Italy.
