Item Description
An OLD-TIME, CLASSIC and showy combination specimen from the famous Tri-State District of Missouri. Lustrous, brassy, tetragonal, marcasite crystals are richly and epitaxically attached to an aesthetic, five crystal cluster of lustrous galena cubes to 3.5 cm. The galena crystals are jauntily perched on a bench of brecciated chert sprinkled with so-called gemmy rubyjack sphalerite crystals and one, large sphalerite crystal. A classic, classy, old-timer from the Mullane Collection. There is $2.50 price tag on the back! You know its old....but that was still a good chunk of money 40 years ago for a contemporary piece valued at $200-300 today
