Item Description
An adorable two-sided miniature from this famed locale on the French coast. Aesthetic clusters of tightly intergrown, gray metallic-lustre, triangular, tabular marcasite crystals beautifully course down the crest of the blocky chalk matrix. Specimens could only be collected at low tide at the base of the chalk cliffs. The area is now in a nature reserve, where collecting is prohibited. Classic and excellent Cap Blanc-Nez matrix marcasite.
