Item Description

A very nice example of the uncommon Marcasite specimens from the Bou Nahas Mine in Morocco. The piece features beautiful stacked / repeating pseudo-cubic crystals of light golden metallic Marcasite with individual crystals measuring up to 1.2 cm on edge, and no matrix. The piece is very three-dimensional, and looks notably different from every angle. From the collection of Dr. Barratt Phillips.
