Gemmy and lustrous, pretty rose-pink, manganoan vesuviante crystals are scattered among the green vesuvianite crystals on this classic and very showy specimen from the famous and now-closed Jeffrey Mine. The matix is massive vesuvianite. A nifty small vug is hidden on one side of the piece. Beautiful and desirable material, that is solid vesuvianite. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection. valued $400
