Item Description

Pickeringite is an uncommon hydrated hydrated sulfate and the Mn-rich varietal is quite rare. A dense mounded cluster of radial sprays of acicular crystals is aesthetically set on matrix. This rich and excellent piece is from an area in the Slovak Republic well-known for pickeringite specimens. Ex Josef Vajdak Collection.
