Three, dramatic, upright, pastel-pink, manganoan calcite rhombs to 5.5 cm are the focal point on this aesthetic and superb large combination specimen from the famous Nikolaevskiy Mine. All of the calcite rhombs are in the flattened "nailhead" crystal habit and are lustrous and translucent. Chlorite-included quartz points and small calcites are super accessories to this outstanding two-sided specimen. Amazingly pristine. The display quality of either side is top-flight. Orange fluorescence. Specimens of this top quality and variety help to define Dalnegorsk as one of the great calcite producing localities on earth. Valued at $2500-3000.
