Manganoan calcite is rare from this mine, well-known for rhodochrosite. Densely intergrown rosettes of pastel-pink, bladed manganoan calcite rhombs are dramatically peppered with tiny, bronzy pyritohedrons. The rosettes are attractively perched atop the mounded matrix covered with water-clear quartz points. RARE and most excellent multi-sided combination material from the Tom Wolfe Calcite Collection.
