An impressive and very fine large plate of intergrown botryoids of tiny, lustrous and translucent, pretty pink, manganoan calcite rhombs. This colorful and excellent piece is from a major underground iron mine in Wisconsin. These are old things, from the mid 1900s generally. Despite its size it is remarkably pristine, except for trivial periphery wear! Pieces in this quality, size and rich color are very uncommon. Bright orange-pink fluorescence.
