A showy and fine old-time manganoan calcite from an uncommon locale in historic St. Andreasberg. The elongated, lustrous, translucent, pastel-pink trigonal crystals have very interesting parallel/stepped growth. The crystals look like tree bark or alligator scales. Choice material from the Miller Calcite Collection. Bright neon-orange fluorescence! MUCH better in person.
