Item Description
A very showy and sculptural large combination from the 1990s to early 2000s finds at famed Dal'negorsk. A sculptural dense cluster of intergrown, glassy and lustrous, translucent, pretty pastel-pink manganoan calcite rhombs is artistically perched atop a striking dense diverging spray of ankerite coated quartz points. Hidden on the back is a cluster of ankerite coated pyrrhotite crystals. Some of the pyrrhotites are pristine and some are broken. The large calcite cluster is essentially pristine and the few broken quartz crystals are certainly only a modest detraction. A classic and aesthetic large manganoan combination from the Ted Bartels Collection with neon-pink fluorescence.
