Item Description
A classic, very impressive manganoan calcite on splendent galena specimen from Pachapaqui. Lustrous, pretty pastel-pink, jackstraw clusters of tapered, elongate crystals have striking, hydra-like, multiple terminations. This crystal form is facinating and rare! Complete all-around with only very trivial periphery wear. This is one of the finest Pachapaqui manganoan calcites I have seen. Very choice material from the Schlichter Collection. Super orange-pink fluorescence.
