Item Description

Another NEW FIND from this remote Chinese mine are these striking manganoan calcite specimens. The pretty pastel-pink, the lustrous and translucent, parallel-growth, diverging crystal has a bladed lower section with unusual looking, stepped-growth terminations. This piece has looks like an ancient Greek amphora or tall jar. Complete all-around. A bit of bruising and cleaving is noted, but you can hardly tell, as the crystal is so glassy. SUPER orange-pink fluorescence! MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
