Item Description

Riveting fluorescence on this RARE, striking, sculptural large arborescent spray of glassy, translucent, pretty peach-pink manganoan calcite scalenohedrons with satin lustre faces from this obscure zinc skarn deposit in Chihuahua. The mine is better known for excellent wulfenite specimens and specimens in general, are rare from here. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. A couple of gently bruised terminations are certainly only a modest detraction of this fine rarity. Ex Gary Weaver Collection.
