Item Description
Pachapaqui manganoan calcites are a classic Peru species and this is a very fine small cabinet plate. Sharp, pretty pastel-pink rhombs with frosted faces are very aesthetically clustered. The translucent rhombs reach 2.5 cm on the diagonal. There are a few nifty small quartz points tucked into the middle and on the lower right edge of the piece. Pristine, except for periphery wear. Super neon-orange fluorescence! Ex Miller Calcite Collection # 2836. There label says the nearby Raura District, but this excellent piece is from Pachapaqui.
