Item Description

Pretty pink, highly lustrous, translucent, intergrown clusters of flattened manganoan calcite rhombs form a showy and aesthetic specimen from Dalnegorsk. Snow-white quartz spindles preferentially festooned on the rhombs are a fine and starkly contrasting accent. This excellent piece has many possible display views and is pristine. SUPER pinkish-orange fluorescence. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock and comes with his over 10 year-old label. Herb valued this piece at $350, then. It is worth more today. Classic Dalnegorsk calcite.
