Stacked, very glassy, trigonal, light pastel-pink, manganoan calcite rhombs cap the piece. The prismatic, hexagonal, manganoan calcite "cone" has a highly unusual two-toned scalloped crust of drusy quartz. Complete all-around and essentially pristine, with only the slightest rubbing to the nailhead rhombs. Certainly a most fascinating, rare and sculptural combination calcite from this famed locale.
