Item Description
Striking sharply terminated, jagged stepped-growth, three-sided intergrown manganoan-calcite spearpoints form a dramatic and sculptural 360-degree from this well-known Peruvian locale. The translucent pretty pastel-pink spires have satin lustre faces. Complete all-around and in great shape. The interior is pristine, except for one gently bruised tip and the basal periphery wear is certainly acceptable in the context of this rich specimen. Pachapaqui is famous for manganoan calcite specimens and this is a fine and rich example of this varietal. Neon-pink fluorescence! Ex R.D. Mushlitz Collection.
